About IQAC

Maintaining and enhancing the quality of education in higher education institutions is a continuous and significant challenge. To institutionalize this pursuit of excellence, the Internal Quality Assurance Centre (IQAC) was established at our institute in 2014.

The IQAC is dedicated to fostering a culture of quality through a systematic and sustained approach. It strives to strengthen the teaching–learning process, refine evaluation methods, and enhance the overall performance of students and faculty. Regular internal audits of institutional practices, faculty, and staff are conducted by the IQAC to ensure ongoing improvement and uphold the highest standards of academic excellence.

👉︎ Establishment and Promotion of Quality Standards

  • Formulates and promotes the implementation of quality benchmarks for academic and administrative functions.
  • Ensures alignment of institutional processes with defined quality parameters.
  • Enhances awareness on quality assurance through orientation, workshops, and sensitization programs.

👉︎ Curriculum and Academic Process Evaluation

  • Reviews and aligns Program Outcomes (POs), Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), and Course Outcomes (COs) with institution's vision and mission.
  • Supervises the design, assessment, and revision of curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Coordinates with departments to align Course Outcomes (COs) with Bloom’s Taxonomy and evaluates target achievements.

👉︎ Assessment and Feedback Mechanism

  • Develops tools for continuous assessment and feedback collection from all stakeholders.
  • Conducts both direct and indirect assessments of teaching, learning, and evaluation practices.
  • Performs analysis of internal (CIE) and external (SEE) examination outcomes to monitor academic effectiveness.

👉︎ Academic and Administrative Audits

  • Conducts periodic internal and external audits to review the quality of academic and administrative operations.
  • Prepares reports on audit findings and initiates follow-up actions for continual improvement.

👉︎ Quality Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintains comprehensive documentation of all quality-related activities, reports, and institutional performance indicators.
  • Prepares the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and ensures its timely submission to NAAC and other statutory bodies.
  • Supports accreditation and affiliation processes with accurate and structured           
    reporting.

👉︎ Capacity Building and Quality Enhancement

  • Organizes inter- and intra-institutional seminars, conferences, and workshops focused on quality improvement themes.
  • Proposes training and development programs for faculty, staff, and students to           
    promote innovative and learner-centric teaching methods.

👉︎ Performance Monitoring and Institutional Development

  • Monitors faculty performance and supports the implementation of self-appraisal systems.
  • Encourages and evaluates initiatives aimed at student development, placement effectiveness, and holistic education.
  • Gathers recommendations and implements corrective measures to address performance          
    gaps.

👉︎ Infrastructure and Resource Planning

  • Identifies gaps in infrastructure and learning resources and recommends necessary enhancements to the management.
  • Supports planning of additional academic offerings, electives, and co-curricular activities to bridge curricular gaps.

👉︎ Data Management and Transparency

  • Ensures effective data collection, analysis, and utilization for decision-making.
  • Maintains the institution’s digital presence, including regular updates of the official website with quality-related content.

👉︎ Liaison and Advisory Role

  • Acts as a central agency to coordinate quality initiatives across various departments and committees.
  • Provides strategic inputs for institutional development through structured reviews and continuous monitoring of progress.
