Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established in 2017 with an intake of 60 students. The faculty members are highly qualified from reputed institutions like NITs, JNTUH, JNTUK, etc. The department has fully established laboratories and has developed strong expertise in areas such as Power Systems and Power Electronics. Specialized laboratories such as Electrical Simulation, Power Electronic Simulation, Electrical Drives, Control Systems, Networks & Simulation, Electrical Measurements, Renewable Energy Systems and Basic Electrical Engineering give students hands-on experience. Final year projects are designed with modelling/simulation and industrial application. Students are placed in reputed organizations like TGGENCO, TCS, HCL, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, etc., and several students have secured good GATE ranks and admissions into IITs and NITs.

The department continuously updates its curriculum in line with international standards and also maintains a departmental library with online journal access and NPTEL learning support. The department received Rs. 3.5 Lakhs from AICTE for conducting FDP during 2025-26 and played a major role in the installation of 160 kW solar power plants on Blocks II & III of the campus.
