NBA Accreditation
NBA Accreditation
The B.Tech Program in Civil Engineering has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, for four successive terms — 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025, each for a duration of three years. This recognition reflects the department’s consistent pursuit of academic excellence, outcome-based education, and continuous quality enhancement.
The current NBA accreditation under Tier-I (Washington Accord) is valid up to June 30, 2028, affirming that the Civil Engineering program meets international standards of engineering education and professional competence.
Students enrolled in an NBA-accredited program receive an education that harmoniously blends academic rigor with professional relevance, ensuring that the curriculum, teaching methodologies, and institutional practices are aligned with the evolving needs of the global industry and society. Accreditation guarantees that learners are nurtured in an environment fostering innovation, critical thinking, and ethical engineering practice.
The primary objective of the NBA is to promote continuous improvement and quality assurance in technical education. The accreditation process objectively evaluates the institution’s strengths, areas for enhancement, and academic practices, offering valuable guidance and opportunities for sustained growth and excellence.
