Functionalities:
The council shall deliberate on policies governing academic standards, student admissions, and overall academic advancement.
- To establish a dedicated Program Assessment Committee for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs to ensure continuous quality enhancement.
- To motivate and guide faculty members in publishing impactful technical research in reputed National and International journals and conferences.
- To periodically evaluate student academic performance and recommend necessary interventions for improvement.
- To strengthen internal coordination and collaboration within the department for better academic and administrative effectiveness.
- To recommend strategic measures to the Management for enhancing teaching quality, research productivity, training initiatives, and student recognitions such as awards, medals, and prizes.
- To define and periodically refine departmental goals aligned with institutional growth and emerging technological trends.
- To revisit and update the Vision, Mission, Program Outcomes (POs) Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), and Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) based on academic needs and industry expectations.
- To review and plan faculty development programs, workshops, training sessions, and future-oriented departmental activities to ensure continual progress.
