Functions:
- The Program Assessment and Quality Improvement Committee (PAQIC) plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuous enhancement of academic programs.
- It regularly evaluates Program Outcomes (POs) and Program-Specific Outcomes (PSOs) to ensure alignment with academic and industry standards while assessing the achievement of Course Outcomes (COs).
- The committee reviews the curriculum to incorporate emerging trends, technologies, and stakeholder feedback, ensuring relevance and excellence.
- It ensures compliance with accreditation requirements from regulatory bodies like NBA, NAAC, and AICTE, preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- PAQIC monitors curriculum gap analysis, teaching methodologies, infrastructure, and student performance, recommending improvements to maintain quality. It also focuses on faculty and student development by identifying training needs, suggesting value-added programs, and promoting innovation and employability.
- The committee fosters collaboration with industry and academic institutions, benchmarks against peer programs, and advises on strategic planning to align objectives with the institution's vision, ensuring sustained program excellence and relevance.
